Tropical World, Roundhay Park
A council-run tropical attraction in Roundhay Park, Leeds, whose Butterfly House lets exotic butterflies fly freely among tropical plants, alongside other indoor animal zones. It holds one of the largest collections of tropical plants outside Kew and opened in 1988. It is an indoor tropical attraction with themed animal zones including a Butterfly House, home to meerkats, monkeys, crocodiles and butterflies.
