Activity
Rainforest Soundscape
Play a recording of a tropical rainforest canopy. Ask the children to close their eyes and identify all the different sounds they hear (rain hitting leaves, monkeys howling, birds calling, insects buzzing). Discuss why the rainforest is so much noisier than a desert or tundra.
